Never Give Up

"Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly as though you were working for your real master and not merely for humans. Col 3:23"

There are times we all face giants in our lives... and like the football video above, they new the were going against a giant in there case a football team and before they even faced them they already had the attitude of defeat. So many times we have that same attitude we face a giant in our life ad we just give up!... but read the story of jericho here
Now Jericho was tightly shut up Because of the children of Isreal None went out And none came in And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given unto thine hand Jericho And the king thereof and the mighty men of valor And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war And go round about the city once
Thus shalt thou do six days And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams horns And the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times and the priests shall blow the trumpets and it shall come to pass that when they make a long blast with the rams horn and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet all the people shall shout with a great shout and the wall of the city shall fall down flat and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him For the Lord hath said unto Joshua SHOUT for I have given you the city

The inhabitants of Jericho were perverted by sin and corrupt Surrounded by walls so thick that chariots raced on top With ladders, catapolts and spearheads readied and blazing in the sun The armies of Isreal stood ready for commands of war to come For 39 years Joshua was trained under Moses' righteous hand And it was Joshua who led nearly three million Isrealites Into the promised land Now Moses was dead and the real test cameCould he simply follow God's word And do something that to the natural mind Would be utterly obsurd Without Moses to ask advice of Or an advisory committee God said the walls will fall Just tell them SHOUT for I have given you the city

Now God was putting in operation a principle of war Setting at our disposal weaponry that drops deamons to the floor Something with tremendous power that assassinates fear and doubt Its the high praises of victory unleashed by a shout When David played his songs of praise, demons fled from Saul As Paul and Silas worshiped God, the chains began to fall it lifts us above the circumstance and lets God's power flow
The shout of victory binds the devil with chains that won't let go So with the confidence of warring angels Isreal stood stone ready To obey Joshua, speak to their mountain And SHOUT for God was giving them the city

Six days they marched around Jericho and the last day they marched seven While the Cananites jeered from their evil walls Isreals faith reached Heaven Before any manifestation, with every brick still in place
Eyeball to eyeball they looked fear dead in its face They didn't wait to feel some earthquake or to see a lightening flash They didn't need to hear a theatric rumble or a mind blowing crash They prepared their souls for victory Now its God's turn to come thru They'd scream their lungs out Simply because... they believed...
God's word was true.

So, with the high praises of God in their mouths, Came a massive... there came a volcanic sound And Isreal shouted in victory And they shouted in faith And the walls came tumbling down

Now Joshua Could have looked at this giant of a wall which chariot raced on top.. it was huge!.. he could have said God i cant do this.. and he had all these people who he was in charge over can u imagine walking around a wall seven times and knowing thousands of people were goin to be quiet as they walk around this wall?... but joshua trausted God, he wasnt walking around this wall for himself he was doin it for God he was beliving and trusting God that the walls were going to fall!... and after seven times whe they shouted the walls came down!... so what would happeed if we just looked at our giant and shouted a shout of victory and watch him fall...

What ever your facing today dont give up because you think you cant do it anymore that your tired that its too much.. because like the coach was beside his player yelling DONT GIVE UP!!.. God is besides you yelling DONT GIVE UP! IM RIGHT HERE BESIDE U! YOU WILL MAKE IT!... somtimes we are soo close to victory and we give up because the giants to big.. but my GOD is bigger.. he will strengthen u.. So whatever your facing keep going to dont give up. and traust GOD and shout with a SHOUT OF VICTORY!.. and watch the walls fall.....

Luke 10:19 (The Message)

18-20Jesus said, "I know. I saw Satan fall, a bolt of lightning out of the sky. See what I've given you? Safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions, and protection from every assault of the Enemy. No one can put a hand on you. All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God's authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you—that's the agenda for rejoicing."

Let GOD.....

Your destiny is not fixed.

Do you sometimes feel that through poor choices you have squandered your opportunities to live the life you once dreamed of? Is your life full of guilt and regret? Do you sometimes wish you could turn the clock back and start over?

Unfortunately, you can't relive your past. But your past does not have to determine your future . Turn your future over to God and He can turn it around. He can alter your destiny and change your reputation. Just consider Jacob, the “deceiver,” who cheated his brother Esau out of his birthright. Later, however, he wrestled with God, who changed his name to Israel , “prince of God,” and who made him the father of the nation that bore his name.

Then there's Moses, a murderer and fugitive in the desert whose destiny was altered at a burning bush. His encounter with God changed him into a deliverer who freed a nation from slavery.

God is in the destiny-altering and reputation-changing business. Just look at Saul. On his way to Damascus to arrest followers of Christ, he met the Lord on the road. Blinded temporarily by the encounter, Saul rested at the home of a man named Judas. In the meantime, God instructed Ananias to go to Saul and restore his sight, saying, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel .”

Saul thought his destiny was to rid the land of the Jesus-followers. God altered his destiny and his reputation. As Paul, he became one of the most potent forces in spreading the gospel of Christ throughout the Roman Empire in the first century. When they saw how he was boldly preaching the faith he once tried to destroy, they glorified God because of him.

What God did for Paul and all these others He can do for you. Do you feel like you have messed up your life? God can straighten things out and set you on the right road. There is no sin so great that God's grace is not greater still. No hole so deep that God's love cannot reach you and pull you out. Remember that one day of favor can be worth more than a lifetime of labor. At the same time, one day of favor can change a lifetime of mistakes, bad choices and missed opportunities .

Don't let the shame or discouragement of your past rob you of your future. Turn to the One who can alter your destiny and change your reputation. Let God turn you around!

Forgivness?

So often, people hold on to bitterness or resentment, thinking that they are stockpiling ammunition against the person who hurt or offended them as if one day, they'll have the chance to get even. However, the truth is, if you don't choose to forgive, the only person being punished is you.

Unforgiveness is like a barrier that actually blocks the door to your heart. In order to move forward, you must remove the barrier, open the door of your heart, and extend forgiveness to others. When the door of your heart is open, you can then release all the hurt and pain and make room for God's healing.

I heard a story about a woman in her mid–thirties who had been mistreated, abused, abandoned, and neglected throughout her life. She was a believer, yet she was still consumed with feelings of betrayal, anger, and hurt. At times, she sat up nights imagining confrontations with the people who had hurt her. In her mind, she rehearsed over and over all of the offenses and wrongs that had been committed against her. She wanted so badly to get even.

One night while praying, she realized that all those negative feelings were blocking her from moving forward. She knew she had to let go of the past offenses. She wasn't sure how to do it, but she began imagining a large assortment of helium–filled balloons in her hand. Each balloon represented an offense, a concern, or a hurt in her life. She then pictured herself releasing those balloons one at a time and watching them float away. As she did this, she could almost feel each of those offenses, cares, and concerns that had been consuming her thoughts begin to lift off of her. Each time she practiced this exercise, she released her cares and concerns to God and received a fresh portion of His strength to face each day. Eventually, she found her place of peace as she released those balloons and learned to forgive.

Why don't you release your balloons today? Let go of all offenses and give them to God. You can accomplish so much more when you allow forgiveness to fill your heart.

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you…(Mark 11:25, AMP).
